Spanish. Lawyer specializing in project management, development policies and international relations. Doctor (PhD) in International Law, her career has focused on development projects in different countries of the European Union and Latin America. She began her career as a judge in Spain, then moving to Luxembourg to work in the Court of Justice and the Court of Auditors of the European Union. Since 2003, as a lawyer, she has developed investment projects between Europe and Latin America in leading law firms, collaborating with different multilateral organizations and other development institutions. In 2008 she moved to Caracas to work at the CAF Development Bank of Latin America as Regional Coordinator of Strategic Programs and Technical Cooperation. The position entailed the responsibility of defining the strategic programs and technical assistance in social and environmental projects in the region. Also, required to establish contacts within various organizations in Europe, the U.S. and Asia in order to create agreements to raise funds for projects of mutual interest. While at the CAF, she also had the opportunity to assist the Presidency in its external relations with other international organizations, both in the field of study and thought, as in the political sphere. In the IDBFA, she was Treasurer and Vice President on its Board of Director. She has lectured in several countries and has published papers on development policies, international relations and law of the European Union.

Panamanian. Bachelors in Finance, Master in Strategic Management and a specialization in Financial Markets, from The Catholic University Santa María la Antigua. It also has a Post-Graduate diploma in Higher Eductaion from the Inter-American University of Panama and a Certificate of Financial Planning from Georgetown University; Washington, D.C. He has over 15 years of professional experience. He started his career in the Panama Stock Exchange in 1998. He has served in various financial institutions active in the capital market sector such as HSBC Private Banking and Multibank. In 2011, he was honored with the "40 under 40" award by the financial journal Capital Financiero to the work of a select group of people who have contributed to the development and growth of Panama. He has also been a university professor at the Inter-American University and the Latin American University of Science and Technology in Panama City. He has served on the Board of The Active 20-30 Club of Panama. He was the President of the Inter-American Development Bank Family Association for 4 years.
